AFA member and producer of high quality architectural powders, Akzo Nobel are specified on the prestigious new Canaletto project in London. Due for completion later this year the project is being built by main contractor Ardmore. The striking 31 storey residential tower is located in the heart of London on City Road.
Akzo Nobel’s D2525 'Super Durable' finishes are being applied to the main ribbon cladding and balcony surrounds. This enhanced technology offers extended life expectancy, providing significantly greater colour and gloss retention properties compared to normal powder formulations. The powder coater, also an AFA member, Superior Paints and Powder Coatings in Coventry are coating the profiles for the project.
'Super Durable’ powders are becoming widely specified on prestigious projects and this is one of a number of high end residential schemes utilising ‘Super Durable' powder coating for the full scale facade. Further information on the ‘Super Durable’ finishes are available on the companys' website
