Air density of buildings
A 'leak' building means much heat loss and thus high energy costs. In addition, condensation occurs at air leak locations. The better insulated a building is, the more important air density gets. SKG carries out air density tests on wall elements, in a test cabinet or on site. But SKG may also test entire building (parts) with a so-called Blowerdoor. A big fan mimics strong winds, while the amount of leaked air is measured. Air leaks can be detected upon entering a large amount of air into the building. This allows very targeted action so that moisture problems can be prevented and so that your building will achieve better energy results. Tests are carried out in accordance with NEN 2686 and EN 1026.
